Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) supplements our Terms of Service and describes the rules you must follow when using LogoRouter.
✓Permitted Uses
You may use the LogoRouter API for any lawful purpose that falls within the following categories:
Displaying logos in your application UI to help users identify companies, tools, or integrations
Showing logos in internal dashboards, analytics, CRM, or productivity tools
Using logos in editorial, journalistic, or educational content where brand attribution is clear
Embedding logos in generated reports, invoices, or documents created for end users
Caching API responses for up to 7 days for performance optimization
Using logos in marketing materials where the brand relationship is accurately described
✕Prohibited Uses
The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension of your account:
Unauthorized Scraping & Bulk Harvesting
- Downloading, storing, or redistibuting the LogoRouter logo corpus outside of fair-use caching
- Building a competing logo database or derivative dataset from LogoRouter data
- Automating bulk requests beyond your plan limits or rate limits
Intellectual Property Violations
- Using logos in ways that violate trademark or copyright of the respective brand owners
- Misrepresenting your affiliation with any brand whose logo you retrieve
- Removing, obscuring, or altering trademark notices embedded in logo assets
Harmful or Deceptive Use
- Phishing, spoofing, or impersonation using retrieved brand assets
- Generating misleading financial or investment materials that imply brand endorsement
- Using logos to deceive users into believing a product is officially affiliated with a brand
Technical Abuse
- Attempting to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the LogoRouter service
- Submitting content that contains viruses, malware, or malicious code
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of LogoRouter systems without authorization
API Key Misuse
- Sharing API keys publicly (e.g., committing keys to public repositories)
- Selling, sublicensing, or transferring API access to third parties
- Using a single API key for multiple organizations without an enterprise agreement
Rate Limits & Fair Use
All plans include rate limits to ensure fair access for all users. Current limits by plan:

Enforcement
We take violations of this AUP seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may take any of the following actions:
- 01Issue a warning and request remediation
- 02Temporarily suspend API access pending investigation
- 03Permanently terminate your account without refund
- 04Report violations to relevant authorities where required by law
- 05Pursue legal action to recover damages
Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is violating this AUP or misusing the LogoRouter service, please report it immediately to abuse@logorouter.com. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
